Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping was honored to participate in the Warren Tech STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & Building Trades Apprenticeship Program in Lakewood, Colorado.
Warren Occupational Technical Center is a career and technical high school that places students in real world environments and teaches them the applications to perform construction focused careers. Baker Concrete lead the hands on training by teaching the students how to survey and estimate a project, plan for the job, safely execute the project, form a ramp and sidewalk, and place the concrete.
The class involved pouring a ramp and sidewalk for the ACRES at Warren Tech building. Each student got a chance to get their hands dirty in every step of the process. A big thank you to to Martin Marietta and Eco-Pan as well for participating.
